File Format

The file must be a comma-separate value (CSV) file, with the following columns, with three sections: one for the roadmap meta data (name, etc.): that section is one line in length. The second section is for the roadmap work items, and has one line for each. The third for the dependencies between the work items, and has one line for each. Anything can precede these three sections. A blank line should separate each section, and each section must begin with a line containing only the name of the section, as shown.

Each section should adhere to the CSV format standard (https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc4180), except that blank lines are allowed, and the file can (must) have the above three parts, each which has different columns. (The CSV standard requires the entire file to have the same columns; however, it is common practice that CVS files can have multiple sections.)

Null values:

Represented as nothing between two commas, or between a comma and the end of the line.

Numbers:

No grouping separators (comma between sets of three digits).
Decimal separator period (not comma as in some European countries).
If exponential format is needed, then scientific notation is used, e.g., 1.235E-02

Dates:

Use ISO_LOCAL_DATE format, e.g., 2011-12-03
